Kathryn is Kate from a previous past life.

Abandoned on the church steps in Italy as a babe, Kathryn was given the last name "Conti" meaning "beloved". Priests, monks and nuns raised her while she lived there. She's considered unique because she wasn't like any other vampire they had ever came across. She was a new breed, a rare breed that was given the name "Energia Vampiro" or "Energy Vampire" (but not how it's seen as now a days)

She was the first of five to be born, making her rare and the breed more dangerous. She doesn't need as much blood as a vampire normally does, but she does feed on the energy of the living. Doesn't have to pierce the skin of a person to drain them, but when they do they can suck a year or more's worth of life from them and their own kind isn't any safer from this breed then mortals since even vampires give off energy.

Kathryn was raised and taught well then was trained and became a vampire huntress. Working for the church and doing whatever she has to do to take down both vampires and any kind of threat out there.

She had started going more on her own and doing what she wanted after the death of her husband and partner; Vaun Helsing along with her children by one of the Original Vampires; her father.

She doesn't call many her friends and tends to be strict when it comes to her work, but the few she care about she tends to flirt with. The more she cares the more she flirts and she only flirts with a vampire; who in considering that she is over a hundred years older then calls him a child in comparison and a half breed Scottish vampire who though is older then Kathryn by a hundred years still can make the older blush.

She is currently alive in the late 1800's and hunting down two of her last siblings, believing that their breed should not exist anymore and as soon as she takes care of them plans to go make her peace. Visit old friends, visit her old haunts and then go after her father in hopes for both of them to be taken down in their final battle.
